3 years in the making...

From the moment I met this girl I knew I had to photograph her.  I waited until we became friends to share these plans with her.  Lucky for me she was just as excited as I was!  Unlucky for both of us that our schedules seemed to clash...for the next 3 years.  When I was available, she was busy.  When she was free, I had plans.  I consider it a small miracle that neither of us had work today.  :)

Tea Party in Pasadena!

Today I had the pleasure of photographing a very special Mother's Day celebration in Pasadena. If there is one thing every single woman had in common it was their love for the guest of honor!  You didn't have to be in the room long to know that she is a very special woman that has touched the lives of many.  Happy Mother's Day to Lenna and all the beautiful ladies at the Scarlet Tea Room!

A few weeks ago I finally got to photograph my boyfriend's beautiful nieces, Kylie and Keira.  I love these girls to pieces!  We headed to the park to get a few shots and much to our surprise we met two more sisters with the same names.  Talk about a small world.  :)

This will be a walk in the park!

Isn't that how the saying goes?  Implying that something will be easy?  Boy oh boy, did I underestimate the energy that this little guy had!  We were running all over the place.  He tired me out.  :)

When my good friend Daniel asked me to take maternity photos of his fiance, Patty, I couldn't say yes fast enough!  From the moment I saw all of the amazing tattoos this couple had I was dying to photograph them.  :)

Baby Luna

Not long after Maggie and Tim's maternity shoot they welcomed their beautiful little girl into the world!  With parents as artistic and creative as Maggie and Tim I can't wait to see what kinds of things Luna grows up to do.  :)

Last week I visited my family in my hometown of Midland, Mi.  I was supposed to be on vacation but when Jackie called and said she hadn't had senior pictures taken yet I just couldn't resist.  It was a little cold out but we still got some great shots!  Here are a few images from Jackie's session.  :)
